Boxfish at Ocean Action Forum

Boxfish Robotics will participate in the Ocean Action Forum 2025, held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event focuses on advancing marine sustainability and innovation, aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, and brings together experts and decision-makers to explore practical solutions for ocean health and resilience.

The Ocean Action Forum is a regional platform designed to address key challenges and opportunities in marine conservation and sustainable ocean industries. It convenes stakeholders from government, academia, and industry to collaborate on topics such as:

  • Marine ecosystem restoration (coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass)
  • Sustainable fishing and aquaculture
  • Pollution reduction and waste management
  • Climate resilience and adaptation
  • Ocean technologies, including robotics, AI, and satellite monitoring
  • Blue economy development through strategic partnerships and innovation

Boxfish Technologies

Boxfish Robotics will present its autonomous platforms, the Boxfish AUV and ARV-i, for coral reef monitoring, benthic survey, and photogrammetry. These systems offer high-resolution sub-millimetre geo-referenced imaging and enable continuous monitoring in marine environments, supporting both research and operational needs.

We look forward to meeting with customers and partners to discuss:

  • Inspection needs across marine infrastructure and habitats
  • Digital twin applications for environmental modelling and asset tracking
  • Regional collaboration opportunities with organisations focused on conservation, innovation, and sustainable development

If you are attending the Ocean Action Forum, we welcome you to visit us in the exhibition area to learn more about our technologies and explore how Boxfish can support your underwater missions.
