As we approach the end of 2023, we’d like to reflect on our journey this year. This year has been notable for our advancements in underwater autonomy, including resident drone development and installations for offshore drone inspections. We’re excited about this new chapter and the future that comes with underwater offshore automation!
Throughout the year, we’ve had the privilege to witness the incredible achievements of our clients, who have operated in some of the most extreme conditions across the globe. Their innovative spirit and dedication have allowed us to capture moments that have never been done before, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in their field.
In 2023, we, together with our partners, participated in industry events across New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Thailand, Japan, Spain, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom to better understand customer needs and to meet experts in volcanology, marine science, filmmaking, offshore inspection, navy and defense. These experiences strengthened our global presence and facilitated cross-disciplinary collaboration, showcasing the transformative potential of our innovations.
The highlights of the year undoubtedly included meeting our customers who came for training and their ROV upgrades at our headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand. We cherished the time spent with them, providing comprehensive training and planning for their success.
We’d like to acknowledge our reliable suppliers, the majority of whom are based in New Zealand. They supply crucial components for our ROVs and HAUVs, consistently upholding high standards of quality, demonstrating unwavering loyalty, and ensuring continuous operation throughout the year and into the future. Their contributions have been indispensable to our achievements.
This year, we took a significant step in underlining our commitment to excellence in underwater robotics by renaming our company to Boxfish Robotics.
As we approach the new year, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our clients, partners, advisors, and suppliers for their invaluable support and collaboration. We are excited to continue our leadership position in underwater robotics and underwater autonomy, as well as resident docking solutions for offshore energy and outstanding solutions for the underwater filming industry. We are committed to serving our clients by delivering the best value and being trusted partners in 2024 and beyond.
